Butterflies are beautiful creatures with short but interesting lives. They start as eggs but in a very few weeks they become caterpillars with big appetites. They eat the leaves of plants and prepare to create their cocoon or chrysalis. Then, they disappear for two or three weeks, and finally they come out as a beautiful butterfly with colorful wings
